The civil strife of the mind here is really revealing. Two choices each with their pros and cons but then passion for another leading to questioning of former safety behaviours - it could be that a soul mate has appeared making the writer question what they truly want in life. Always good when that happens - questions lead to answers and answers lead to illumination of erstwhile dark recesses of the mind. Always good when that happens too..
