Room Full Of Roses

Room Full Of Roses

A Poem by Shadow
"

A psycho man no?

"

A love once so sweet...
A love that rained into bittersweet pain...
A love that everyone thought wouldn't end...
Until that day...
What a mess...
Counting down until that day...
Where they wouldn't see one another...
Where everything would be fine...
Sharpening the knives as he thought of ways to keep her by his side...
Placing the knives down he walked into the bedroom...
There she was a fair beauty....
Her skin so pale it lit up the night...
Her hair so golden it reminded him of sweet summer days...
But her eyes closed...
As if she were dead laying in a casket of blankets...
As he placed a hand over her cheek...
Slowly her white eyes opened...
She placed a hand over his hand and called out,
"Vincent is that you?"
He nodded but since her sight has long since gone he said,
"Yes Joann it's me..."
But absentmindedly he drew his hunting blade...
"I love you..."
Was all he said before he stabbed her over and over again....
Blood splattered on his insane face but he paid no attention...
She made no noise for now she was long gone...
But he continued despite the fact she was dead he screamed,
"I love you! I love you! God I love you!"
When he stopped blood was everywhere and she laid there...
Lifeless eyes opened...
Blood splattered on the wall like a banquet of red roses...
To him she looked like she was covered in sweet roses...
He left the room smiling...
Everyday he check in on her...
And everyday it looked like to him...
A room full of roses...
And everyday he said,
"A fitting ending don't you think Joann?"
