The lies in which we share

The lies in which we share

I am sorry for the lies.
I am sorry for no alibi.
I am sorry for you.
And I am sorry for me.
And I am sorry for the misery
At which I caused you...
I am sorry for being untruthful.
Won't you forgive me?
For the lies?
For the no alibis?
You hate me now don't you?
You hate at what I have become...
Well for once I will have to agree with you...
I hate me too.
I hate that I lie...
I hate the no alibis.
I hate how you can't forgive me...
Why don't we just play a little,
Hide and seek?
I hide and you seek me...
If you don't find me...
Then we are no longer friends...
But if you do seek me,
Forever we have to be friends...
For we belong together...
Don't you see?
We belong...
But instead of playing...
You just sit on the floor and smirk...
Now I know for sure...
You hate me...
But now I know...
I hate me too.
