We are our own god

We are our own god

A Poem by Shadow

We are our own God.
We are what we want to be.
We are on big society.
Full of different ideas, we are.
We share our ideas and unite.
But when it comes to god we repel.
Ideas and beliefs are not one.
Blood shed cause of these beliefs.
Fears grow with change.
Thoughts grow short and fade.
The mind narrows and breaks.
Tears fall with our understanding.
I don't believe in God so I say this:
"We are our own God.
We are what we want to be.
We are one big society."

Hi Shadow

I get the General Idea but I think the verse wandered around a little. If you say we are our own God you cant change your mind half way and say you dont believe.

I dont believe in "One God"...I think as you say we are all part of him/it... though I try not to praise myself too much

I also think the trouble is that we are not "an agreeable" one big society...and dont always share our ideas...or money...or much else....

Yes I get the point you are making
