Open space

Open space

A Poem by Shadow
"

...

"

I stare into open space.

Nothing is what is in my heart.

Like the silent springs my heart was silent.

Then the invaders came with there toothy

grin and there cold life-less eyes.

They came turning my heart cold,

making it beat faster and faster.

I am running short on breathe as

they invade my mind,

with there spears

of anger, they stab me over and over.

There smie so innocent yet so cruel.

I close my eyes and they are gone.

I open them and stare into open space.

Nothing is what is in my heart.
