Feast of fools

Feast of fools

A Poem by Shadow

All around the table they sit.
Talking and chattering as if nothing wrong.
The perfect family of four.
No one ever does anything wrong.
Everyone is as perfect as ever.
With there false smiles and empty heads.
They know nothing of what is going on.
They know nothing of there long lost son.
And they don't care only about the perfect dinner
they were having.
They say the news rots the brains of the ones around them.
They say they don't need anything but love.
But what they don't know is the killer.
The war that rages inside the killer.
He breaks into this perfect little family.
His smile cruel and unfeeling as he grips the gun.
He holds it up to the dads head.
He smiles again that cruel smile that is so cold,
and life-less as if he enjoyed it.
But a las it is the forgotten son,
the one that forgotten long ago for he was just
another disruption in the family.
He grined showing a full row of teeth as he screams,
"Now dad have you forgotten me now!?"
"My revenge will come now!"
He pulls the trigger and there goes the whole family
with holes in there heads.
He laughs as he screams, "Bloody murderer I am! Now
you can wash your hands of me but you can't cause your dead!"
He laughed a cruel empty laugh he didn't care about them.
He cackeled, "Bloody murder!"
He looked at the feast of fools one more time.
So life-less they were frozen fears on there face he cackled one
more time then left.
The perfect family lay dead after they just had their feast...
A feast of fools they were.
