Our friendship

Our friendship

A Poem by Shadow
"

About a friendship that goes into ruins.

"

Friendship is almost,

Anything but lies.

Friendship is reaching,

Out and touching,

The person who,

Is your friend.

When that friend,

Doesn't touch back,

You are borken,

Like they took,

A thousand pins,

And stuck them,

One by one,

Into your fragile,

Skin.

Like your heart,

Being ripped out,

And squished.

All at once,

This happens.

Friendship is about,

Opening up to,

Eachother and when,

That person closes,

Up you feel,

like you haven't,

Accomplished anything.

You feel like,

You are standing,

In the artic winds.

Starring at nothing.

Cause nothing is,

All that is,

There.

Well my dear,

Friend that is,

Our friendship!

Hearts break, pins,

Stuck into fargile,

Skin, lying in,

The artic winds.

Our friendship is

Nothing to you.

But everything to

Me!

You try to,

To hide from

Me but I,

Try to hide,

The fact that,

Our friendship is,

Nothing to you.

Well I am done

hiding and so,

Should you and,

You and I,

Should understand that,

Our friendship is,

Nothing made from,

Nothing.
