A Chapter by Shadow

...A chapter to my story.

We are all innocent someone has said to me, my mother only said this once but she is not what I am talking about. She is also not what this story is about, this story is about someone I met before this...I mean before what happaned to me. It is your not everday story about a perfect life with perfect people with perfect jobs...No this is about war...Ragging between one and another...War everyday but no one does anything to stop it. We hide but it is no use they find us and turn us into what they are. No this story isn't perfect it is real... This story all begins in a little town and also ends...

"Ha! you think I am a fool don't you Kazunage?" Shriek said impatiently her foot tapping.

Kazunage was looking for a way out now. Shriek never used his full name unless he was in deep trouble. Once he gave up he looked Shriek straight in the eye, "No not at all it's just what you say is so far-fetch that I can't get a grip on it. I mean it is so way out there it makes me want to laugh. Come on you could be a vamp? Ha they wouldn't pick you cause you are to weak to be what they are heck I am even weak. So why would they choose you for beauty? Ha if they choose you for that then they must be dumb now if you don't mind move! I have to get to work before I am late!"

What Kaz did now was so surpising to even me. Usualy Kazunage or Kaz was so predictable usualy but today he was mad for some reason. How I know is what he wore today, he wore his black jeans that had belts around all of it there was barely any jeans showing. He wore his black shirt with a picture of a skull bleeding out of its eyes. His black boy-cut short hair was a so messy that his face was barely showing. His blue eyes raged with fury of this converstation.

He shove Shriek or Shri for short, out of the way and she banged into me.

We stumbled down hard onto the tiled floor and I gasped as I leaped up. I was the first one to get up, I looked at Kaz who opened the door, he looked at me with sadness in his eyes. He slamed the door shut and I looked at Shri who was now crying I went over to comfort her but shoved me away.

She stood up her black and red plad skirt was dirty now. Along with her black and white checkered T-shirt. Her brown long straight hair was now covering her pale face. She brushed it away as she looked at me. Her blue eyes also full of sadness now her thick black mascara dripping down her cheeks as if she was crying black. "You should go before it turns dark and the Vamps come."

"No I am not leaving you in this conditon." I said with confidence.

"Rai...Ri...Do as I say and go before I call the police..."

She was dead serious I realized and I sighed giving up as I said my good-byes and walked out the door into the blinding afternoon.

As I was walking home I felt lost for some strange reason. But that faded quickly as I felt the prensence of someone or something following me. I stopped and their footsteps that echoed stopped. I continoued they continoued, I walked a little bit faster practically jogging to the nearest store. I felt that person getting closer, looking back I saw him a Vamp after me? I knew him from somewhere was he royal? Oh no how could this be? I am not strong enough not even for the royals! I was about to enter a bookstore then everything went black.

Sorry I forgot introductions didn't I? Well my name is Rai, Ri for short Nozomi. I am 16 years old and I live in Scarlet Red. I know ha-ha that is what the vamps like! No this is no laughing matter the vamps or vampires are after something really important to them. What is it? No one knows but the vamps have a clue that it is some kind of book...A book of cures is what they call it. Now see the vampires are dying out quickly of this unknown diesea that vamps call the v-plauge. So they are turning humans into Vamps so that they could help them search for this book. But humans are resisting so war broke out. And here I am today trying to not turn into a vamp but failing as you already know.

I awoke in a haze but some how I ended up in the bookstore. In the back...In the dark where the vamps usualy hang out. I sat up and realized I was on the floor. I groaned in pain as I felt a burning sensation on my neck. I gasped as I realize what I have become. I stood up and walked toward this open door that is letting light in for me to see since I haven't adapted to my vamp senses. I am not going to freak out abviously there has been some kind of mistake and they will turn me back to normal. So I sit back down in the room waiting for outside to turn dark so I can actually go and discuss what kind of mistake they have done.
