King of light

A shadow creeps over the land...
Making it hard to really stand...
Making me want to run and search for a shooting star...
But as they always say it is never too far...
Sometimes within your heart....
So I have to take this knife...
Cut out everyone's heart...
Who is hiding the star?

We need some light to shine within ourselves...
Make us glow...
Make us shine...
Make so everything turns into mine...
For everything the light touches...
Will forever be mine...
So light my way with your beating heart...
For soon you will be in the dark....

The wolves eat their way into the moon...
Taking the light...
Making sure I don't rule...
I'm not such a horrible ruler...
Look of all I've done...
Look at what I've become...
I am stronger than you will ever know...
I will take what rightfully is mine...

So stay away...
Let me rain on your parade...
Instead of you raining on mine...
Let us travel through time...
Creep on the ceiling...
And fall asleep under black lights...
Where will the stars be for us...?
In our dreams...

So come here in the end you will be mine...
You are my gold...
And I am your time...
We will be together forever...
My light...
And your mind...
But when will I ever get my light to come back...?
Never it will seem...

I am the dark...
But yet I want the light...
It will never be mine...
Fireflies circle around me...
Touching them they set me on fire...
The shrills of the dead plague my mind...
I guess it's time to leave my rule behind...
So my life has died...
