Kissing Razors

Kissing Razors

A Poem by Shadow

Waking up my neighbors...
With all this screaming...
This nonsense of noise...
Sleeping in front of the piano...
The melody haunting me...
The melody I made for you...
Oh so long ago...
But you called out for something...
You called for torture...
Now listen to glass hearts beat...
Shrieking to want to be dropped...
The scratching against the edges...
The night time brings out the worse...
Oh my dear...
I don't know...
What to do...
You made your way into me...
Sat there consuming me...
My weakness of darkness...
Taking my sight...
But now a new weakness...
I wake up in the middle of the night...
Scarring the thought of kissing razors...
Cutting out my tongue...
So I no longer have a say in anything...
But please...
As the sirens scream...
Just stay away...
From me...
Stay away from the people I love...
Sometimes they are all I have left...
Even though they are such shadows on the walls...
With knives hiding in their backs...
Waiting for the time for me to turn around...
So they can pull it out...
And that against me...
So once again I feel what I have felt before...
Kissing razors...
