Empty Promises

Yes,

I hear the promise,

But is it just as empty as all the others,

Or is it full of truth,

I just see those empty promises,

Those lies that you keep telling yourself,

And no eventually you believe those lies.

That I’m going to be okay,

That the scars will fade,

They won’t fade,

I won’t be okay,

You promise me that I will live to see my own children,

But I don’t want to have those children,

Those children who will suffer,

Those children who will cry themselves to sleep,

I don’t want to have kids,

I don’t want them to go through my problems.

So stop with the empty promises they mean nothing.

They have no point.

it is so dark but still at the end of the tunnel there is still hope and wishing for that hope or ray of light.
