A Poem by Shadow

Though I see your lips move and hear the words you speak,

Your words have no meaning,

I see you crying about something,

But I have no energy to comfort you.

I hear you scream my name,

And all I feel is the word fly straight through me,

You have done all you can to help me,

I am grateful,

But it just wasn’t enough to bring me back to that cheerful girl you used to know.

The one that wore pink,

The one who would run around scraping up her knees from trying to learn how to bike,

The one that smiled to her ears and wouldn’t stop smiling for hours,

The one that would spin in circles till she fell over giggling,

I’m sorry for ruining your life,

Sorry for making you stressed over nothing.

You don’t need to worry anymore,

Everything is fine,

Everything will be fine.

so sad, emotional but it explains one thing though that in the many pitfalls you bump into makes you stronger and hopefully you can live to the promise that everything will be fine.

you are welcome
This is amazing and shows how times change and not always for the better. I love the emphasis you show on the "everything is fine / everything will be fine" by crossing out the first line, it proves that although over time things get better and worse and then even worse there is light and the end of this everlong tunnel.
