Muse(s)A Poem by ShadowWolfI was asked if I had a muse by one who should know. Of muses, there are two.
My Muse(s)
Warm sunlight shines down A gentle breeze ruffles leaves Scents of green grass Scents of summers flowers Both fill the soft air As I sit so quiet All says you have not gone Forever you will be with me Sunlight fades Night creeps close behind Lady Moon climbs higher and higher The Hunter appears just behind Betelgeuse sits high at his shoulder Glowing so red, so bright Ah, the memories so strong The tears of loss The tears of joy Joy for All says you have not gone Forever you will be with me Lady Moon speaking so clear Calls for attention Here! She says See! And there gliding serenely Across Her smiling face A dark friend, a Raven From the Otherside Memories from Times of distant past Memories vague unclear Yet the tug of the Silver Chain Speaks of friendship rediscovered All says you are here Forever you will be with me Muse(s) you are Walking either side of me Golden One and Raven Sparking Inspiring Thoughts to Words Memories, Memories So Sweet! © 2008 ShadowWolfAuthor's Note
