Sittin' in my drawers

Sittin' in my drawers

A Poem by ShadowWolf
"

I am almost ashamed to dare to call this a poem.

"

The yoke

Of bad marriage

No longer worn

The witch, the b***h

Thank the gods All gone!

Kids all grown

And on their own.

Missed to be sure

Yet knowing

Each lives well

And free.

Life so different now

No more prying little eyes

No more worries

Other than those I choose.

So here I sit

And all alone.

Here I sit

Free to be me.

Free to do as I please

Free to simply be me

So here I sit

As I choose.

Here I am Composing these stupid words

Just sittin’ here in my drawers.

ROTFLMAO..................................................Dear man I just love it! You are too funny! And I am on an antiquated computer and the internet is driven by a donkey cart. This is painful.

That was great, you are not alone. It's like a peace of mind and a sense of freedom all mixed up together.

I'm not too ashamed to admit I've been known to do the same when no one is around. Hehe it's a great feeling. Kudos on being the one brave enough to say it first

*giggle*

Freedom is a wonderful thing, isn't it? You can sit in your drawers, or buck naked, if you so choose!

About
An "old man", not by choice in the sense of years since I am five years older than dirt and two years older than baseball. Age is simply a state of mind and that being the case then my mind tells me I.. more..
