Life’s Choices…

Always faced with choices, unsure of what to do

If only you could know what the best thing is for you

But if we always did what’s best and never what was wrong

How could we make mistakes, to learn and become strong?

Everyone makes choices, of which they are not proud

But even these mistakes must surely be allowed

Though they bring us shame and make us want to hide

The personal growth they foster goes beyond our pride

Knowledge and understanding are what we hope to learn

Personal growth and wisdom the greatest things to earn

And so we go on living, making choices along the way

Learning without knowing, each and every day…
