What Will Happen?

What Will Happen?

A Poem by ShadowWhysper

Invisible, I sit and watch as things happen all around me

Wanting to speak, yet unsure of what to say

Even if I knew, unable to find my voice

Standing at the edge, hesitant

Should I take the step?

What will happen?

Yet my thoughts go unnoticed by those around me

They see only an image skin deep

Layers lay undiscovered underneath

Many barriers blocking the way

Few catch a glimpse of reality

Fewer yet, venture into the depths

Should I open the door?

What will happen?

Is it safe?

One hand clapping makes no sound, just as a wall build of self doubt and fears is seldom torn down. If you spend a lifetime in shadows waiting to be noticed you may never be seen, you just need to shine the light of your own creativity and to the whole world will you be revealed. Another good one my friend.
