Suicide SymphonyA Poem by Obscured by the ShadowsAs the setting sun does shine, the sweet grapes turn to wine. She sat beside him, filled with love, their fingers were intertwined. Melodic sounds of nature, so small in real stature. Innocence is plaguing her, she is entirely immature. The bees buzz around in the air, a garden is tended with much care. At her heart was nothing but joy, so when it ends, it's more than she can bare. The gentle wind rock, the click of an old clock. In the mind of the woman, 'twas nothing but shock. A small snail moves along, the duckling never did belong. Out of place is the truth of her soul, the feeling of the unknown is strong. Two rams smack heads, crabs fight on the seabed. Flashes of red and black, anger is had, and at last she fled. The ocean waves and cries, tree branches say goodbye. Pain is a common ache to her, but she knows everyone must die. The rain gently begins to fall, the spring air has a silent call. Peaceful calm is what she desires, death is secretly wanted by all. Roses bloom in the sun light, the eerie black shriek is of the night. dark emotions corrupt all her thoughts, impulsive actions may seem bright. In the darkness, a tiger bides, his time is spent, in anger he hides. With a mind as clear as new glass, she finally conducts her symphony suicide. © 2016 Obscured by the ShadowsReviews
