In theory,

things will get always better.

As easy to do as writing a letter,

life won't seem so cruel and bitter.

 

In theory,

everything will fall into place.

Things won't be rubbed in your face,

the world around you will be full of grace.

 

In theory,

this is merely the beginning.

The future sits there waiting, grinning,

your unhappiness is slowly thinning.

 

In theory,

there is always some way to succeed,

the pain will no longer ache and bleed,

and God will answer all you plead.

 

In theory,

nothing is supposed to be perfect.

Perfection is simply far-fetched,

The rules of life aren't so strict.

 

In theory,

we all have a choice.

We all have a voice,

in this we can rejoice!

 

That is all in theory,

in truth it's far worse.

Life is just a curse,

your happiness will burst, 

a voice is just an empty verse,

perfection is simply fake and terse,

and everyone will end up in a hearse.

 

So clearly, 

Reality isn't nearly as cheery

as the concept of theory.

an eye opener.... wow! each and every stanza(except the last two stanzas) speaking what the world and our society says about the false reality.... the concept is absolutely brilliant.... the last two stanzas said what the real reality is.....full ratings my dear sister...
