Just Like Rain

I lay here crying, 

letting out my pain.

Now my tears are falling,

just like rain.

 

My life's a mess,

a horror story.

Though I must confess,

you won't feel sorry.

 

I was the cause,

for all this pain.

It gave me pause,

with nothing to gain.

 

I lost it all,

before it even started.

I thought I'd grow tall,

but now I'm broken-hearted.

 

I lay here crying, 

letting out my pain.

Now my blood is falling,

just like rain.

This is just amazing. Extremely relatable to anyone who has ever been hurt over their own actions(so probably everyone). It reminds me of someone I lost because I decided to be stupid. You captured the thoughts of someone who has lost something dear to them because of thereself. Great job :)

A really emotional piece. I'm not much of a critic, but nice work, I felt the emotions you poured into this.

*holds breath the entire time i'm reading this* This is really amazing. One of those tear-inducing pieces that I personally love. The more intense, the better, and I'm loving this. It's so intense, and yet it has a somber feel to it as well. It's as if the person going through this experience has accepted that their pain is real, but as bad as it may be they contributed to it in a way they didn't see before. I'm not sure any of what I just said makes any sense. xD I'm super tired tbh.

It might seem weird but i always find inspiration in sad writings, they always show me honesty and the most tragic situations of human life and how people still have the courage to keep going and fighting for the circumstances to change.....Love it frnd....The title is quite brilliant.....Clappings!!!!!
