I Sit Here Thinking

Inspiration for this one was events of today and Poison's poem "What if I Were Gone Tomorrow?"

I sit here thinking,

thinking about life.

What would happen,

if I were gone?

 

Would things have been different,

people more happy?

Or would it all be the same, 

just an empty space.

 

You walk into class,

there's one empty seat.

Who sit's there?

No one.

 

I sit here thinking,

thinking about life.

what would happen,

if I were gone?

 

Would people cry?

Or would they simply not care?

Another person gone,

nothing new here.

 

They think about me,

no reaction occurs.

This life was pointless,

I achieved nothing.

 

I sit here thinking, 

thinking about life.

What would happen,

if I killed them all?

i like how relatable this is, well to me atleast. i just end up thinking and thinking about life and as i keep thinking my thoughts start going deeper and deeper. when this happens i just really feel numb like a void in my stomach that hurts emotionally. but the worst is when my mind is silent because at times a silent mind can be just as torterous as a mind being drowned in your own thoughts.

I love the thoughts... thoughts I have lived through many times. I wrote about it once on here... I think it's called fade away. Sometimes our mind gets the best of us and no matter how hard we try all our mind can zone in on is the thought of what is this place going to be like when I'm gone. Will I be forgotten?
