A Poem by Kelsie Stoner

Snow-capped peaks caked in blood
The blood drips all the way down the mountain
Melting the snow
With plasmic heat
Filling the valleys with red
And soaking into the earth
The earth drinks the blood
And it wants more
The blood warms the earth
And allows the snow to melt
Then springtime comes
And flowers grow out of the earth
They thrive on the blood
And they want more
In the rain
The peaks are washed clean
Then snow falls once again
It covers the earth
It covers the flowers
It covers the blood
And everything is as it was once again
