Unhappy GirlA Poem by Kelsie StonerBallad
She was an unhappy girl
You'd rarely see her smile She didn't understand the world She'd sit and wonder why A man she knew from long ago Had a bullet in his brain He came back up from Mexico And he never was the same She was an unhappy girl But he was just alone She wished she could control the world And make a place called home Everyone needs a place to live And we all need a place to die She gave them all she had to give She'd sit and wonder why No one out there can agree On a way to save our souls We're all trying to get free But she just rakes the coals © 2011 Kelsie Stoner |
