RyuKyuYo Translation page

I'm not an expert on Japanese, but I will define some of the vocab that appears in the story for you. ^^

Here is the definitions of the Title: (Not sure if any of this is right though, not a perfect translator)

Ryukyuyo -is a word I made from "ryukyu", meaning Eternal in Japanese. I added "yo" for night to make one word.

Tsukiyo- Moonlit night

Tsurugi- The faction from the west, it means sword or blade in Japanese. Thought the word sounded cool for a group of bloodthirsty warriors.

Teppo-A faction from the North, it means "Gun" in Japanese. Started a theme on the weapon like names ^^

Shingetsu-  It means New Moon, because the island of Shingetus is like a cresent moon in the south.

Tamashii- Is the continent of the West, home of the Tsurugi. It means "Soul" in Japanese. I thought it was a cool name for the biggest continent.

Tosho- The name of the planet, like earth is the name of ours...I forgot what it meant....looked it up and it said book....that was not what it meant when I named the planet -scratches head- (just remembered, it is a shrine)

Haruka- it means far away...lol

Sakaki- The forest that Akira cared for Tatsu in. It means zenith in Japanese.

Tatsu and Ryuu- They both actually mean dragon. Thought it was cool to use both names for brother and sister.

Akira- It means autume, a popular name in Japan. Named him that because of his red hair.

Mibu- Swiped the name from the anime "Samurai deeper Kyo" and based Akira off of Kyoshiro the medicine man.

The names of the faction leaders- I actualy just replaced a few letters from the names of the Square Enix producers ^^
