Ghost

Ghost

A Poem by ShadowCandy

Is it strange

That I still feel

The way your fingers twined through my hair

And the soft pressure of your lips

I can still feel

The weight of your gaze

Moving across my flesh

And the moisture of your breath

Coats my skin

If you stop haunting me

Will I still feel

When my mind releases you

Will my heart survive

Without the memory of you

To keep it whole

Well written piece, your words paint a verbal picture of the memory of a loss.

Really nice job on this. Sometimes the memory of an old love never leaves until we find a new one. Until then, they haunt us daily.
