My existance

My existance

A Poem by Shadow

I often sit and wonder if I truly exist.

So many faces walk past and look right thru me

As if I'm not there and I ask again"Do I exist?"

Jim Morrison wrote "People are strange When your a stranger"

Is it truly just me or are we losing sight of one another?

When did we all become strangers to one another?

Is the man that stands next to me truly my brother?

If I don't truly exist........how do you measure your existance

Do you measure your self worth by the company you keep

or the ones who miss you when your gone

the answer is never clear at least not for me

So i am forever left to ponder when will I be seen?

This scares me somewhat. It depicts the looming shadows we all have that are just as meaningless
to us, as they are to our brothers. We don't see each other as we see ourselves anymore. We just wander and meander aimlessly...

Powerful, powerful write.

Brilliant existential vision of our lives, and our existence among a world of strangers... May we learn that we are all brothers before we devastate each other. Powerful write!
