Oh Christmas tree oh christmas tree how do i explain what you mean to me

you mean presents and gift wraps and lots of ribbon,fun times with family and old mistakes unforgiven

 

You mean months of trying to find that perfect gift upon which to brag

hoping that someone truly does appreciate thoughts more than department store tags

you mean Lexus and Hummers and BMW ads,Diamond and ruby's that no one really has

 

You mean Rudolph and Santa And most of all the Grinch

and let us not forget that un-heavenly dead pine needle stench

you mean Ralphie and his love of the red rider gun

and also the thought of kicking ralphie in the head for fun

 

You mean Car crashes and sledding accidents in the white powdery snow outside

you also mean cold medicine and mom tanning someones hide

 You mean huge meals with the people you see the least

you also mean foul odor when the kids slip the cat too much roast beef

 

You mean Ice Skating,Bonuses and lots of Bright lights

you mean a promise made long ago that everything will be alright
