Porcelain and Plastic

Porcelain and Plastic

A Poem by Evangeline Allyson Monroe
"

This is the first poem in a series about trials and tribulations. :) I hope you enjoy!

"

A painted smile,

Eyes of perfection,

Clear skin: the perfect complexion.

Clothed in denial

With gloves made of “I'm alright.”

Perfect plush hands

Pull her ribbon tight

Because that's what is in style

For those of porcelain and plastic.

It seems there is a lot of porcelain and plastic these days, doesn't it? I personally like "flaws", they make us unique. I did enjoy it :) People are looking like they are mass produced, I agree. What is wrong with being real? Nice work, my friend.
