Limping dog, lonely dog;S traying dog, homeless dog

A Poem by Lord_Shade

Limping dog, lonely dog
Sit a while by that log
Lick those wounds, that you got
And worry not,
The next day's meal
-
Straying dog, homeless dog.
All your life, a cloudy fog.
The road ahead so unclear
Shelter none, the rain you fear
All you know, a cruel life
-
Rest your head
On stony bed
Come dawn, and I'll be there
Open armed and a home to spare
Cry tonight and smile at dawn

About
There's not really much about me. I took up poetry last year ever since I can't live without writing at least one a day, even if it totally sucks. My preferred genre of story writing is fantasy and I'.. more..
