Oceans Of RegretsA Poem by Lord_Shadewritten 27/04/2015 My first poem this month.
I recall those words you said
You wrapped them up in gentleness Your kind words, your hackneyed offerings They left me none the better - Raging like a tempest, cold as snow These pains deep in my heart Loud as winter storms, clear as summer days These voices in my head - A stormy ocean of voices That never seem to cease 'Had i done this...' Is all they ever seem to say - All of my wishes and regrets They matter not, for you're miles away Dwelling in someone else' heart And I'm just left with oceans of regrets © 2015 Lord_ShadeReviews
