True BeautyA Poem by Lord_Shade
Only a man once blind,
Can appreciate the earth's beauty. It's beauty is really seen, Only by a bird, sky-high. In this empty hall, Even as I sit alone, To Look through my window, Is all I need do, And behold! Such magnificent view. A beauty one can see and feel But cannot quite touch. A beauty born of dust and water, And strengthened by the sun. Ravaged not, by man's foul deeds. After all, it harbored the first man. True beauty goes beyond the surface. Such a beauty defies time itself. The earth possess it. And so do you. © 2015 Lord_Shade |
