Perfect Chunk Of LandA Poem by Lord_ShadeThis was the first poem I ever finished. It was inspired by the big rock candy mountains.
I shall journey through mud and sand,
For I read it from a book last night; Hidden far in the earth, There lay a perfect chunk of land. - A place of convergence, Of folks of every race and hue. Where the snow is never bitter cold, And the sun is never fierce. - Crystal, are the mountains; Emeralds light the valleys; Sweetest of wine makes the streams; And sapphire-colored, are the rains. - Come with me dear ole friend, Lets quest for this land of bliss. Though long and hard the road may be, We shall find joy at our journey's end. © 2015 Lord_Shade |
