A Lady I Once Knew

A Lady I Once Knew

A Poem by Lord_Shade
"

For and old friend and the old days.

"
I knew a lady sweet and comely.
Gentle of soul, Yet fierce of beauty.
Brown of eyes, Black of hair.
And a voice that rivaled,
The greatest of minstrels.
-
I met her at an autumn's end,
With googly-eyes and a heart to spend.
Though she lingered in my dreams at day,
I welcomed her to my dreams at night.
Both fair and mire, she haunted them..

And your review really encourages me.
Well written piece, I had one of those fair ladies you speak of
married 15 years to find out those dreams of her turned into
a nightmare in reality, be careful lol:) loved the fluency and
beautiful sweet sentiment, thanks for sharing and b-blessed!

About
There's not really much about me. I took up poetry last year ever since I can't live without writing at least one a day, even if it totally sucks. My preferred genre of story writing is fantasy and I'.. more..
