Your ChainsA Poem by Lord_Shadewritten 11/03/15.
Trapped! I am,
In this dungeon of yours. For your chains, they hold me still. Over my heart; A metal so cold; Icy as snow, yet hard as steel; These chains of yours, my dear. I wriggle and writhe, I still see your face. These chains held tight; For over a year. I shout and scream, Yet I can't let you go. My heart, in fragments lie. Yet the fragments are yours, As your chain binds me still. Mayhap, with time; These chains will rust; And wither and break; And my heart will mend. But for now, your chains holds tight. © 2015 Lord_Shade |
