Evening Sky

Evening Sky

A Poem by Shade Teller

The day is gone
Another nightmare past.
The thing I have been waiting for,
is almost here at last.

I look into the sky
and see a beautiful sight.
I watch the darkness of days,
turn into night.

All the colors mix
and paint their masterpiece.
In the west the light dimly shines.
In the east, darkness increase.

The wet is a dim yellow
and starts to fade in blue,'
Till it goes dark and pure,
Like the night I knew.

A little bit above the west,
is a single point of light,
a bit above the west,
is the first star of the night.
This moment for me will never die.,
to watch and see the evening sky.
