A Sinner Such As I

I have failed and failed again.
Each day I live; a lie.
No one could forgive,
A sinner such as I.

It's true I've been forgiven,
many countless times,
For all of my wrong doings,
and my terrible crimes.

But one can only go so far,
before falling to their doom.
I am caught in my wrongs,
where my sins loom.

I don't deserve your love,
I don't deserve your kindness,
Because of all I've done,
I walk alone in blindness.

I have failed and failed again,
Each day I live; a lie,

A sinner such as I.

This poem is full of pain and emotion that many do feel at times. God will never hate you even if you fell like he does. I should know i have felt this way a lot due to my eating disorder, but in the end god forgives and loves us all. Great write.
