Truth and Lies

There are some truths,
but only one or two,
There are definitely more lies.
Let me name a few.
"Everything is okay."
"We're in a safe place."
"There's no need to worry."
"Nothing will change."
"There will be another day."
"There will be another race."
"There's no need to worry."
"Nothing will change."

There are more lies than truths,
there are quite a few,
now let me say two truths
that has to deal with you.
God loves you...
and I do too.
