Grains of Sand

Grains of Sand

A Story by Shade Teller
"

What are we to become anything?

"
A single grain of sand blows in the wind. It flows unnoticed. The single grain finds it's place amongst it's many brethren. It finds it's place unnoticed. The rains pour and it stands. The winds try to pick it back up but it remains immovable. It is nearly invincible, but unnoticed. Then someone comes along, and pisses on the sand. This single grain of sand then becomes a part of a pile of s**t, unloved, and unnoticed. But who cares, its only a grain of sand. It is one grain in a sea of its own kind. A kind that couldn't possibly do anything. It's only a grain of sand. It's only a grain of sand. So are we all.
