The Mountain Stream

The Mountain Stream

A Poem by Shade Teller
"

...and another dreams dies.

"
The water flows by,
the rocks,
the earth,
the lifeless.
The water feeds,
the fish,
the plants,
the lifeless.
The water so cold,
so enchanting,
so vicious,
so lifeless.
The water so unreal,
so lovely,
so hateful,
so lifeless.
A Child wanders by,
imagining,
dreaming,
wondering.
Child falls in with shades of red,
Now as dead as Child's dream,
So is Child in the mountain stream.
