An Unknown Door

An Unknown Door

A Poem by Shade Teller

The hall is long and narrow
and doors are on each side
The entrance is big and intimidating
I go through not knowing what may abide.

Many people are there,
some then greet me in
showing me the area
and where I should begin.

The doors open and close,
people come in people go out,
some get along nicely,
and others scream and shout.

Each door is a new experience
but some things I've seen before.
The only place I have not ventured
is through that unknown door.

None I've seen have entered,
and succeed to return.
What is through that unknown door,
I may never learn.

Some go through young other old,
and some who had no time to start.
To gain a personality,
or even gain a heart.

I have walked and walked again,
in these hall and on this floor,
but never have I entered,
through that unknown door.

Poem is very good. like the internal wisdom in the words. Life is a decision of many roads and people to see and meet. A outstanding poem. Thank you.
