TWO HEARTS HAVE MET

                    Two hearts have met,

                      Two souls are paired,

                       With just a glance,

                       Secrets are shared.

 

                                                     With every beat,

                                                     The heart will tell,

                                                     The story that

                                                      We know so well.

                     

                         The seasons change,

                          But still we sing.

                          For in our hearts

                          It’s always spring.

Though quite simple, it has everything a good poem should have. The flow is rhythmical, the rhyme is unforced, the syntax is spot-on, and the visual presentation suits the piece perfectly. I love the message of the last stanza ... shows how your love remains consistent through any situation.
