MY WORDS OF LOVE

  

I sew the letters one by one,

The words then form a line.

And when you read them as a verse,

Your heart will melt in mine.

 

I bought you with these words of love,

That I write night and day.

And though you try, I’ll tell you clear,

You cannot turn away.

 

My words will glide over your skin,

Inhaling your sweet smell.

And then they enter every pore

Where they will always dwell.

 

My words will bore in to your soul,

They’ll wrap around your mind.

And like a lover’s hungry touch,

They’ll feel and search and find.

This is a very well-written poem. The rhythm and rhyme scheme are excellent, as is the vividness and beauty of the imagery throughout. My favorite part has to be the entire first stanza. Very unique and wonderful throughout. Great work!

This is so very romantic and full of love. The girl is very lucky to have a lover like you. Pen is mightier than the sword. It can do wonders. The deep feelings of love and affection have been inter-weaved and presented in beautiful verse. Exceptionally good. Words...so very well described and talked of. Captured my imagination with this one. Keep writing.
