They are mine,

Tell me one day they are mine,

That hair that has a touch of gold,

Those eyes that in the darkness shine,

Tell me one day, they are mine,

 

They are mine,

Tell me that they are for me.

Those lips with nectar on their tips,

Those smiles, I always long to see,

Tell me that they are for me.

 

You are mine.

Tell me one day you are mine.

Your every smile, your every cry

Your every tear, your every sigh,

Tell me with my love, I’ve bought

Your every dream, your every thought.

 

In all my poems, you’ll live and shine.

Just tell me one day, YOU ARE MINE.

This is a very beautiful poem. It expresses the total, unconditional nature of real love - the willingness to accept everything, the good and the bad: "Your every smile, your every cry / Your every tear, your every sigh". The imagery in the first two lines is vivid and breathtaking, and I love the rhythm and the rhyme scheme. You have done an excellent job in constructing those. My favorite lines of all are "Tell me with my love, I've bought / Your every dream, your every thought." A lovely and very well put together poem. Excellent work!

it's a bit awkward as is....but the poem has an otherwise nice flow to it...
