The Light at The End

The Light at The End

A Poem by ShAb

Watching the rays fall carelessly through the untidy strands of hair,
Reflections of the shadow begins to disappear into the sun,
As frightened palms, come crashing on the bed of the face,
Feeling the plight of the flesh, and the shivers that accompany it.

The mind begins to realize, as faces come to greet,
and it all feels familiar again.

The journey, through the darkness had come to a halt,
abrupt, and what was left, was a man cursing.

Cursing, the tunnel to have a light at the end.
