Brave New World

Brave New World

A Poem by ShAb
"

Utopia, maybe?.

"
"Lay beside me,
and cry.
Unleash your tears",
said a humble old man.

Bewildered, I gazed,
he taunted more,
"cry now,
release yourself", said he.

Unfamiliar, yet he knew,
his plea was familiar,
he screamed again,
"set yourself free".

Somewhere beneath,
the earth shuddered,
left stunned to see,
awed to feel.

The old man was gone,
the ground was sewed,
and to my surprise,
There was mist in my eye
