An Incomplete Lament

An Incomplete Lament

A Poem by ShAb
"

Another one of my old writes, close to my heart.

"

Terrified,
by the mirror,
and the face it reveals,

Seeking to look in your eyes,
and drown into its deep depths,
and surface out on the eve of infinity.

The vision, is the same, yet so different too,
for perhaps it penetrates what the mirror cant see,
and reveals a portrait of a lament, wanting to be heard.

Your breath descends closer, a smile creeps out slowly,
As words then sprinkles , reminiscing yesterdays,
and cursing the cruel minutes of tomorrows.

Your eyes, devouring my every word ,
crawling through the final cement,
inches away , fulfilling destiny.

Final word remains conceal,
as the eyes close ,
terrified.
