"Enough", said the cat.
As the mouse stood still on its feet,
The cheese had grown stale,
"I think its time we quit", cried the feline,
as the mouse peeked from its hole discreet,
The jet black eyes giving a complex to the pale tail,
"I've run out of eight lives, and time is less on nine".
The mouse, glared with a curious eye,
and saw not a hitch in the felines fur,
courage sprinkled, "Whats is new?".
Twilight surrendered to the night sky,
"Does the world know?",as senses began to spur,
The brown skin, shivered as the cold gale blew,
"Its time, I guess, to say my final goodbye"
The cat ran,
The mouse chased,
The feline's shadow,
The fading footsteps,
leading onto a well.
*Splash*
The bomb, stunned the Palestine rivers,
The mountains of Israel stood rooted in a slow decay,
As Korean plateau's grew apart all the more,
Afghanistan craved for the night to turn day.
India stood, in the shallow waters,
drowning slow, as Pakistan grew colder,
and both sunk into a nailed coffin,
The winds of tomorrow, now getting older.
The world witnessed, a battle,
it lasted till the final spec of dust was erased
a battle among people in the same house,
There was no winner in this battle,
between the cat and the mouse.
