Lost...[5-4-2010]

An upsetting and depressing moment in my life and I needed to put it on paper....

A part of me

Has been lost.

Ever since she left,

A piece of me

Has left too.

A year and a half later

And I still hurt.

I wish I spent

More time with her.

Now that time is lost.

I don't know anymore...

It hurts still, like if

It was just yesterday...

Someone please 

Take this pain away.

Let me be at

Peace once again...

Oh gosh, I am so sorry for your loss. This reminds me of a piece I wrote for my grandmother's funeral, titled, the sad thing about tomorrow's is sometimes, they never come. I too felt so bad that I didn't spend more time with my beloved grandmother, she was just the best, and I miss her all the time.

Losing someone close is a hard thing. My golden retriever is getting on in age and I know she will die soon.
Don't know if I'll be able to bear it though. lol
