What Makes a Friend So Special?

A poem I wrote for a class project, I hope you like it.

Do you know what

Makes a friend so special?

Is it that they comfort

You when you need them to?

Or that they give you

A shoulder to cry on?

Nope, there is more.

You can tell them your

Secrets, and tell them

Your personals,

And they'll keep their

Word on it.

What makes a friend so

Special is that they'll do

The littlest things for you,

Like say "Hey" for no

Reason, and make you laugh

When you need a good laugh.

A friend is so special

When they can trust

You with their secrets,

And help you through your lies.

They'll treat you as

If you are their own blood.

They'll help you through

The tough times, and

Laugh through the good times.

"What makes a friend

So special?" You ask me.

Everything, plus having

God in their lives.

Very true, some friends can be special, but sometimes the person you trust the most ends up hurting you the hardest. Great poem :D
