I wrote this in a time when I felt lost. I guess you could call it a song, since I wrote it like a song.

I'm so lost in the world around me.

Don't know where to go, or who to talk to.

I don't know my future, and can't

Remember my past.

I need your help, to find my happiness.

I'm always sad, behind the cheerfulness.

I need you now

To help me through the present

So I can have a good future

I'm drowning in my tears

Please help me with my fears

I need you now to help me

Feel happy again.

I hate feeling this way

Because I'm never truly happy.

When I think I'm happy,

There's always sorrow behind it.

Save me from all this darkness,

I need you to make me happy

Once again.

Very simple, but sad. I like how you wrote it as a song. I think that helps convey the severity of the sadness. As sad as it is, I like it. Reminds me of myself once.
