Tomorrow

Tomorrow

A Poem by Seyi Ojenike

And the dark, sinister spirits

Lurking in corners.

I fear not becoming the person

I hope to be tomorrow.

But if I were to become that person,

He, I eagerly await,

Appreciated
I had Prof. Wole Soyinka in mind when I wrote this poem... The poem can be put in two ways- that I wish to be like him; that I wish to attain every point of success I've always fantasised about.
